Kings Family Resturant in Wintersville

Even when they're busy, Kings' servers are so sweet and interactive! Ours was soo great with my daughter! Service was prompt and on time!

Had chicken and waffles. Chicken was a little dry, but waffle was excellent. Service was friendly and fast.

Waitress couldn't remember what we ordered had to wait quite a while for our drinks. Same for food and it was only warm. They were Not very busy. Don't think I'll go to that particular Kind again.

Turkey dinner was seasoned just right, accompanying salad was large and fresh. My waitress, Summer, was friendly and efficient. Along with parking 1 mile from DC, I needed nothing else.

Don't let the fact that this restaurant is attached to a truck stop keep you from enjoying a great meal. The service is so fast and the quality of the dishes is very high! Military and police/ first responders get a 10% discount everyday!

the waitress are always the sweetest and fast. however I cant say that I’m a fan of the menu.I wish that they had more variety on the dinner menu.

This place has really gone down hill. The service was slow the place is falling apart. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls in the dining area. The restrooms are in really rough shape with some makeshift repairs. The food is okay at best, I hadn't been there in 3 years until this recent visit and have no plans to return.

This young lady's name is SHARON BEATTY. She was my server. My food was great, but SHARON stole the show. I'm a truck driver. Been to many restaurants. But sometimes you meet someone who stands out. Sharon was friendly, courteous, and very professional. I had an issue with my debit card and SHARON was so understanding and took care of my situation. Thank you so much SHARON. I will definitely come back....maybe for dessert!

Decent selection that tastes pretty good. Food is on the lower mid cheap side

Was a nice home run restaurant. Broccoli soup and salad were very good. The soup wasn't very hot, or I would have given it another star. Good variety on the menu.

We were seated right away. Huge menu with lots of variety, and many breakfast and dessert specialties (pies, ice cream). We got the zucchini fries appetizer which was surprisingly good. Also surprised that I was able to choose soup as one of my side dish options to my chicken fried steak. Husband ordered a Blue Cheese burger. The service was fast, friendly and helpful. Water glasses never ran dry. My coleslaw side dish was quite creamy and delicious. The meat was pretty standard but freshly cooked.. Also nice portion size. His burger and applesauce were good. Only real downside was the bathroom which was superficially acceptable but really needs a deep cleaning. Price wise, his burger, my chicken fried steak and our zucchini fries appetizer was $27 ( no drinks).

Excellent food excellent service!!!!!!! As a trucker it's often hard finding a good meal on the road. Chx parmesan was great. Soups are to die for. Broccoli cheese my favorite. And quarts for 5.99 for meal in the truck such a plus. Excellent job Jeremy, was a great waiter and suggestions......

Its over priced for quality of food

Solid Pittsburgh based chain. Decent menu selection and food was cooked better than a typical diner. This particular location the staff weren't super friendly but they weren't rude either (could be because we walked in at 2030 when they close at 2100). A few of their restaurants are at or near truck stops so that's been my experience with them. Good food priced right for quality and portions. The "Frownie Brownie" always makes me chuckle.

Always ask for Tracey. She is the best waitress around. Sorry other waitresses!

Server was congenial and prompt and the food was very delicious the atmosphere pleasant and everything clean.

It’s usually fairly clean at this restaurant. However, when we walker in today; it wasn’t the restaurant that was dirty. It was the looks on the workers faces. None of the servers had a smile on their faces. It felt so gloomy to walk in there. Plus, there were maybe 5-6 tables occupied but we were sat way in the back of the restaurant and around the corner. We were told our server would be right back. However, 5 minutes later no server, no drink order taken and no food order taken. So we got up and left. While walking out there were 3 servers and the seater at the front counter chatting away and one texting. I’m sorry but this is no way to run a business! We won’t be visiting this restaurant again!!! Thank you!

It's nice and cozy. Very similar to the bigger breakfast chains. But I asked for turkey sausage and they brought it to me almost Frozen. They took them back and you could tell they just warmed it up in the microwave 😏

This place is set next to a truck stop which suggests good expectations. Unfortunately that was not the case with my experience. This little wormhole of a restaurant had bland decorations along with bland service. I would call the food bland as well but that would be a compliment. Not only did it take 40 minutes to be seated, my food was utterly disgusting. I am getting sick to my stomach thinking about it. One day when time machines are finally invited i hope i get the chance to travel back in time to this very moment, stab the old me so he can go to the emergency room. I believe me from the past would rather enjoy hospital food than eating at this dreadful place. I do Not approve 👎🏿👎🏿

Restaurant is closed, but the convenience store connected to it has a hot case, I got a Chicken Parmesan sandwich, and a hot cheese pizza Stromboli, they looked good, and I was not disappointed. The bread is amazing, I want that recipe! Mine is nowhere near as good as theirs, and mine is pretty darn good. Truck parking on side, and a lot of it, I hope to be able to get back here again. I want to try the Pizza.

One of best burgers I've had in awhile. Its ashame theres not more parking for truck drivers 40 trucks max with trucks making their own spots. Being so close to the walmart DC more parking for truck drivers would make the business more revenue. I feel if they moved some of the barriers they could fit more trucks. Only reason 4 stars the bathroom's need some work.

Is a very nice family diner,prices are just right and food is hot and fresh,I ended up ordering breakfast and what a nice plate for the money,lost in town all the way from Baltimore MD and i can tell you right now,the place is clean with a friendly staff.The place got good reviews for a reason.Update-- (Oil needs to be replace) look at that potato

Ok if you can get past the run down look of the exterior and such, then prepare yourself for an amazing meal. Say 🧀 cheese platter, meatloaf with mashed taters slathered in unnecessary but delicious beef gravy, and a Buffalo chicken salad.All were just make me fat, take my 💰, hold my 🍺, I got this, D-lish-Is. Ridiculous to think you wouldn't be missing out should you pass this place by. I will be going back again soon. Hope to see y'all there.

Potajohns on one side of the building with no way to wash hands and cramped for the truckers and indoor restrooms for the restaurant. Driver's just walk around and go inside there's no reason we should get treated like dogs with what we're doing. I waited inside for a table patiently, was never greated or told how long the wait would be. Seen tables started to clear, but the waitress was more worried about counting her tips and leaving at 330 than helping her co workers. Decided to leave and a driver walks and has a seat at the counter and is getting served immediately. What gets me is if I was greated they could've informed me I could sit at the counter, the podium says please wait to be seated.I sure hope a bigger chain buys this place out bc us truckers deserve respect.

Great food and friendly service, long wait but worth it

Comparable prices to Denny's, good food, seemingly full truck parking since it is so close to a distribution center. Friendly staff, waitress seemed to be doing the whole place herself, so refills were a lil slow. But would definitely stop by again.Really need the ability to leave multiple reviews on places. Ate there again today 6/14/19 great service, got the chili nachos, did not like the taste of their chili, but the service was great.

Slow down or you'll past it up. Old-fashioned standards. Nice family restaurant. Diesel and a small amount of parking spaces for trucks. And the food was excellent

Had their Reuben sandwich for a to- go order. Sandwich was hot from the grilling, which is a plus. I wasn't disappointed. Will give the place another try, hopefully I will be able to dine in.

My cup had greasy lip prints all over it and my daughter's cup had white chunks of food stuck on the inside of her cup. That place is definitely a dirty truck stop.

So they close the restaurant, and the restrooms, and put 3 porta pottys outside. That desperately need cleaned. And have no toilet paper. And the hand sanitizer is empty. Somthing tells me the employees are not subjected to using them or it might be different. I will never eat nor buy fuel here again.

Haven't been back to this place in years and it was an all around pleasant experience. Quick and friendly service. Food was well seasoned and delicious. Won't be waiting so long for our next visit this time.

The food was definitely worth 5 stars but our waitress is the reason for this review. Tracy was helpful, hilarious, friendly, and attentive. The whole experience was like a comedy show and my girlfriend and I enjoyed her as much as we enjoyed the food. 5 stars for both. Give her a raise.

Friendly staff, my little guy started to get a bit fussy waiting on his auntie, so they brought him a little bowl of gold fish crackers. Tasty apps, it was really awesome they brought his food out before ours without even asking. Food was yummy.
